Nexus is a research forum in the field of security and defence. Nexus is an independent NGO, loosely affiliated with the Institute of International Affairs at the University of Iceland, providing independent academics an open and free research forum.
The purpose of Nexus is to increase cooperation between scholars, the economy and the administration in the field of security and defence by providing a forum for research, cooperation, the exchange of information and opinions of members and partners. In order to achieve its goals, Nexus organises, independently or in cooperation with others, conferences, seminars, lectures and publications as well as social events intended to strengthen the acquaintances of members and thus forming the basis of further cooperation.
